Syngress publishes my second book

I am happy to share with you all that another book that I had co-authored has been published by Syngress.

1. Download the latest version from here:

2. Unzip in a local directory

3. Edit conf.php, change only the username to "newusername", let the password remain "password".

4. Edit Administrator Name, Email ID, and update the BASEURL to the location where you will be uploading the lilina news aggregator. For example, http://subdomain.domain.com

5. Upload all the files to your Internet host

6. Change the permissions for the following files to 777 and make them writeable
- .myfeeds.data
- .time.data
- .categories.data (not implemented yet)
- cache directory

7. Point your browser to http://subdomain.domain.com/edit.php, provide the "newusername" and password as "password" and add the RSS feeds such as http://somename.blogspot.com/rss.html

8. Point your browser to http://subdomain.domain.com/index.php

9. If you want to change the Character encoding, change it in the index.php, for example, utf-8

10. If you are change the languages of any labels, ensure that you save the file in the same encoding format

11. Now visit http://sudomain.domain.com/index.php, your Lilina News Aggregator would have started is job of collecting the news feeds.
