When my friend, philosopher and misguide, 4 years colleague of mine, Rohit helped to rediscover the Mohan inside me and helped me to be back on track, brought some life into my life through some great advices, I never thought that one of my long time dreams will come true.
I am sometimes slow to adopt the fashion or in sync with the electronization happening all around. One time favorite of electronic gadgets, the interest started waning as I am becoming ‘elderly’ these days.
My loyalty can be easily demonstrated: My Sony Ericsson P900 is entering its 5th year. And my laziness through iPod 80 GB; it’s just 2 years old. And Sony DSC F505 is still in use. Along with the TRV-420E.
Well coming back to this post, it’s Starry Night in my bed room. When the first time I heard this and happened to see this, was couple of years back, in my Neighbor’s bedroom in Chennai, he had right reasons as he has couple of young sons. But all the same, the concept was impressive and can impress ‘elderly’ people like me too.
And during my whirlwind trip to Chennai, I setup the Starry Night in our master bed room and found how soothing experience it was to sleep right beneath the stars – the radium ceiling. Thanks to Daiso, I thought.

My Dad had a surprise for me when he pulled out few packets which he had bought to gift somebody. Yes, if Home Centre is in Bahrain, its there in Chennai as well, if Daiso is there, we have My Dollar Shop in Besant Nagar and what else, you get More in Aditya Birla’s More Chain of Super Markets, sometimes more than what you get in Geant here!
Now my apartment in Bahrain has the Starry Night too. And as usual my creativity demonstrated in utilizing the radium packets elsewhere in the flat.
Buy it, experience it and have fun – A starry night in your bedroom, without opening your ceilings!
